Baby Sister is HERE!!

On Tuesday night we welcomed our second daughter to our family. Other than the fact that I was induced with Pitocin for low fluid levels due to being past my due date, it was a natural birth. Needless to say, I am madly in love.

Sunday Night in the Park

Sunday night we went to a pizza party in the park to celebrate my mommy group. Daddy came along and got some nice pictures of Kelly. I never expected to be there without a new baby in my arms, but sometimes things happen that we don't expect.

Rainbows

We've spotted a couple of rainbows over the past few weeks but this one was hard to miss. Kelly has since told us several times that this rainbow is no longer there, "Look, no rainbow, Mommy!" as she points up to the sky behind her friend Kayla's house.

Happy Birthday, Aiden!

Yesterday we went to Aiden's 2nd Birthday party. Kelly had a good time, as always.

Aiden figured out how to get close enough to blow out the candles. It was impressive!


Kelly enjoyed some carrots and dip. However, her favorite part by far was the cake. She asked for cake several times after we got there, and eventually started yelling "Cake's ready!" with touchdown arms when it was time to have cake.

Kelly insisted on wearing her "fancy" yellow dress to hang out yesterday. She then proceeded to put on a performance at her piano.

I Love My Boots!

Kelly loves to jump in puddles, and I finally found some boots for her to wear. She enjoyed trying them on when they came in the mail. You've gotta love the ensemble...

Happy Birthday, Ryan!

Last weekend we celebrated Ryan's second birthday with him.

Playdates

While we haven't had any new pictures in a while, I do have some that I can steal from my moms' group site that my friends took at various playdates we attended. Hence, you can see what we've been up to.

Last Monday we went to the beach at Leesylvania park! Kelly had fun playing in the sand and splashing in the water of the Potomac River.



Later in the week we tried out a new playground...

And then went to the mall to see a baby T-Rex!

Kelly thought it was really funny, but some of the other kids were pretty frightened...



Then yesterday we ended up at an old favorite playground.
