Kelly was supposed to be in bed sleeping one night but she was wide awake so Daddy decided she might as well help him make sure his camera survived the move.

Last night while I was folding clothes in the laundry room I heard a commotion. I peeked into Rhys' room to see him and Alyssa playing their new game.

We've been busy, busy, busy settling into our new house, but here are a few photos of the kids in the new digs.

Last Post in the Old House

The evening after the walk-through on our new house I was pretty under the weather so Daddy did an impromptu photo shoot with the kids to entertain them. Here they are just goofing around. The old house is no more so it's weird to see pictures of it. Hopefully we'll have some pictures in the new house once we get a bit more settled in!

Daddy took the girls up to the National Zoo for Airbus' Annual Picnic.

June 16th

On Granddaddy's birthday we traveled up to Arlington Cemetery to visit him. It was absolutely gorgeous weather at what already is a beautiful cemetery. It felt good to see him again. In a stroke of good luck, while we were there I also got the offer on our house that we ended up accepting. Overall it was an amazing day. It makes me happy to think Granddaddy had a hand in helping us sell our house so quickly (3 offers after being on the market for only two days!), though I know a lot of hard work went into our good fortune as well.

Happy Birthday, Rhys!

Rhys and his birthday cake. It's been almost a month since we celebrated and I already think he looks older. Since he turned 1 Rhys has accumulated two more teeth (for a whopping total of three!) and become a rather proficient walker.
