I think this is the first picture of the girls together since the day they met at the hospital. Kelly was "hugging" Alyssa.

Last night Lisa and Ryan stopped by to bring us dinner and presents and Kelly got to show Ryan our new hummingbird feeder.

Kelly: "Look, Ryan, it's our new bird feeder!"

Ryan: "Up there?"

 

Kelly: "Yes, up there."

Ryan: "Cool!"

Ryan is 6 months younger than Kelly, very slightly taller (I think?), and about five pounds heavier.

Kelly loves to help out in the kitchen. Yesterday she got to help me (normally she's helping Daddy) bake brownies and enjoy licking the spoon when we were done.

More Close-ups of Alyssa

I can't get over how fast Alyssa is changing.  She weighed 8 lbs even on our home scale on Friday, up quite a bit from the 7 lbs 5 oz that she weighed at her two-week checkup on Tuesday.

First Visit to Gramma and Grampa's House

We went out to Gramma and Grampa's house yesterday to celebrate Gram's 96th birthday.

Alyssa's First Bath

I gave Alyssa her first bath last week and roped James into taking some pictures.

Alyssa was very content and seemed to really like the warm water.  When I pulled her out to dry her off, she looked so cute I told James to grab the camera again.  Unfortunately, she didn't stay content for long waiting for the camera and this is the picture he got:

 

Poor baby.  She was quickly wrapped up and dried off.

These two are inseparable these days. 

Kelly is wearing her new outfit from Elizabeth (Charlotte and AJ's mom) that she tried on, slept in, and wanted to wear again the next day.
