I'm always leary of getting the shopping carts with the cars on the front because it's like driving a semi... they're about 8 feet long and have a 20 foot turning radius! But the stars aligned Friday night such that there was one readily available and Daddy was willing and able to push it.
Alyssa is a content baby, happy to sit and play. She has yet to really start moving around... no creeping, crawling, or pulling up yet. To my surprise however, she grabbed the edge of the tub the other night and acted like she wanted to pull up on it! Silly baby :)
Kelly loves to announce her whereabouts when she's hiding. Here she is peeping out from behind her toy treehouse.
The girls started day care last week in anticipation of my return to work tomorrow. Here they are excited to embark on their school careers. (Unfortunately Kelly wasn't as excited later in the week, but we're working on that...)
A few pictures of me and my little cutie. I am a bit worried about her adjustment at daycare next week, but I'm hoping for a smooth transition!
Fun in Costco ("Daddy, take our picture!"). And yes, Kelly wore those ridiculous glasses during the whole shopping excursion. She won them at Chuck E. Cheese so she was very proud of them.
We're big fans of the Second Amendment right to bear arms here in Virginia. Kelly asked Daddy if she can have a gun too. And not just any gun, a pink one. So, we couldn't resist this adorable one, complete with a pink holster, that we spotted at the Cracker Barrel. So Daddy suited her up and taught her the "Virginia tuck." Kelly will learn about gun safety at an early age.
We decided that it was time to cut Kelly's hair... I was planning on a trim to clean it up, but when I suggested she get a short haircut she jumped at the idea. She was really excited and even walked into the Hair Cuttery saying "I want a haircut like Charlotte!" to anyone who would listen.

Saturday we took out a game that Kelly got for her birthday, Elefun, for her to play... turns out most of the fun was playing with the nets with Alyssa!
