Get Up, Stand Up

Now that she's a mature 5 months old, Kelly has decided that she really likes to stand up. With just a little support from me, she can grab all her toys and see things from a new perspective.

Today Kelly is five months old!! Yesterday she met my friend Lisa for the first time. Lisa was visiting from California. Her baby boy is due on August 5th. Kelly is looking forward to meeting him.

The very next day, Wednesday, Kelly pulled herself up to a sitting position.... If she continues, she will have a great six pack!

On Tuesday, Grandma sat Kelly up in her seat and she seemed to enjoy the view.

A Brief Moment of Joy

After a cranky day and before the next bout of tears, Kelly had a happy moment yesterday afternoon. I'm lucky enough to get cute pictures from her dad sent from his phone to mine during my long work days.

Grampa's Company Picnic

Kelly was a very good girl at the Airbus Company Picnic at Tarara Winery. There were all kinds of fun things like face painting and sno-cones. However, Kelly prefers the simpler things in life, like playing with this empty water bottle, as seen here with Gramma Dot:
