Playdoh Antics

Kelly can be very serious about her playdoh...
No-nonsense noodle making.

"Should I eat this?"

"No, Daddy, that'd be silly!"

"Ew, yuck, playdoh!"

Kelly's Tricycle

Gramma Dot got Kelly a tricycle which we finally took outside to play on. She loves it, but the pedals are a bit too far away for her to reach comfortably. I figure by the fall or next spring, she'll be racing around the neighborhood on it.

34-week-pregnant Mommy helping Kelly get down the sidewalk. Can you tell I'm having a girl? Talk about carrying side-to-side/all over!

After becoming bored with the trike (it's not much fun when you can't steer or pedal), Kelly meandered up the hill and started playing with the rocks. She kept talking about it too... here she is chatting with them.

She really had fun with those rocks!

Graham Park Pool

Last Thursday afternoon, we tried a local waterpark that was a very toddler-friendly facility... can't say as much for the patrons though, as two were being walked out in handcuffs as we arrived (!). However, Kelly LOVED all the fun stuff to do there. Not sure whether we'll be going back though....

Trying to enjoy the water with Kelly... it isn't easy being 35 weeks pregnant and playing in the pool with a two-year-old. But Daddy didn't feel like going in and just wanted to take pictures (which works out well for the blog).

Waving from the snake Part 1.

Waving from the snake Part 2.

Having fun getting splashed by the random flipping water buckets.

Riding on the turtle.

About to ride down the little swan slide. That was definitely a favorite!

Playing with the little fountains at the entrance to the water.

Some More Kelly

Just some random shots from this past weekend.

Sparkler!

Daddy was dead set on getting some little fireworks this year for Kelly. She was, of course, very good and kept saying "Don't be afraid, it's just fire, it's okay." It was a little odd, but very cute.

Craaaaazy Mirror

The other night we went to Milwaukee Custard and Kelly had a blast playing with the fun house mirror. A little creepy, but you can see how much fun she had by the looks on her face.

Swimming

On the Fourth of July we dragged Daddy to our neighborhood pool for the first time this season so Kelly could show off her new skills (she took swimming lessons for the past two weeks).
In her coverup, ready to go.

Wearing her Fourth of July swimsuit. I'm not one to dress my two year old in a bikini, but I got it off freecycle (not knowing the style) and couldn't resist putting it on her to celebrate the holiday.

Playing in the kiddie pool during "break." She definitely enjoyed the big pool more though. That's my little fish!

Kelly's Own Piano

Kelly now has her own piano at our house. Her favorite part is when Jake plays it.

July 4th Weekend Cookout

Last Friday we went over to Gramma and Grampa's house for a cookout. You can see that Kelly thoroughly enjoyed it.

Riding on her new tricycle with Gramma. Kelly was very interested in the bell.
