It's a Girl!

We can finally stop referring to the baby as "your baby brother or sister" when we talk to Kelly. It is definitely a girl. She resisted a good face shot but we did get this one.

Too bad she wouldn't move her arms down!

"Kelly Color Chalk!"

Yesterday Kelly and Daddy enjoyed the beautiful (albeit windy) weather by coloring with sidewalk chalk.

Green Chair

This green chair is everyone's favorite. I think it's probably because it's the only seating in our living room that Logan doesn't fit on and hence the only piece that isn't disgusting. With our next dog I'm putting my foot down and not letting it on the furniture!!! (Though you may notice the damage to the right arm of the chair... he did fit in it when he was a puppy. Sigh.)

Evan's 2nd Birthday Party

Last Sunday night we celebrated Kelly's friend Evan's second birthday. We all had a lot of fun and enjoyed some delicious pizza and cake.

Pizza time.

Playing the cotton ball game. The older kids were a little faster on the draw than Kelly...

Sampling the icing on the cake-decoration balloons.

Helping Evan check out the gift that she got him (a big bucket of Playdoh and Playdoh accessories). All the kids LOVE Playdoh.

Leesylvania State Park

Yesterday we enjoyed the wonderful spring weather by going to our local park. We bought an annual pass so hopefully we'll be visiting it much more in the future!

Kelly had fun in the playground...

Sliding down the slide with Mommy. That tunnel was a little scary in my enlarged state, plus I forgot about my re-broken tailbone until we started sliding. Oops. Needless to say I was relieved to be at the bottom.

Checking out some rocks down by the water.

Kelly was enthralled by the sycamore seed balls that covered the ground. She told us that they were "cute."

This one is for you, Mommy! Daddy got one too.

Look, Daddy, this one looks like a potato! This photo was taken from about 40 feet away, so excuse the extensive cropping.

"Smile!"

A conversation between Kelly and Daddy:

"Hey Kelly, want to take some pictures?"

"Okay, now smile -- show me your teeth!"

"Now make a funny face!"
