We went to a barbeque at Gramma Dot and Grampa's house on Sunday. Kelly got to spend some time with her Aunt Kate:



Gramma Dot hung up a remarkably safe swing for Kelly. She sure did love it!

While I am stuck at work wrapping up some end of the quarter business, Daddy sends me cute pictures of Kelly and Logan. He even reported that Kelly was about to chew Logan's ball when she noticed he was watching forlornly. So, she changed her mind and put it in his mouth! Too bad Daddy didn't catch her beautiful sharing skills on camera ;).

Eight Months Old

Today Kelly is eight months old.

She is still thriving on mommy's milk in addition to eating some "big people" food, like Cheerios and fruit. She has had some "baby food," like squash and sweet potato, but she mainly shares Mommy's and Daddy's food.

She is nearly crawling on all fours, but gets around amazingly well on her tummy using her arms and legs to push and pull.

She has a great sense of humor and loves to laugh. She also loves all the dogs and cats she co-habits with. In total, Kelly lives with or hangs out with 3 dogs, 6 cats, and 1 bunny rabbit. They all seem to love Kelly also.

She hates her car seat (both new and old) and wants to hold her own bottle. She appears to be speaking fluent Mandarin. Unfortunately, there is no one here to translate for her, so the poor baby will eventually have to learn to speak English.
