Today I opened up the tent that Grandma got Kelly for when we go to the beach next month. She thought it was a fun new toy ;)

The other day I was sitting on the floor next to Kelly when she
scurried past me and abruptly stopped. I turned to find her
frantically gnawing on Logan's pacifier-shaped chew toy. Funny that
she doesn't have any interest in the real thing, but this one was a
big hit.

Today I went to lunch with some girlfriends and Kelly stayed home with
her daddy. Unfortunately, she was grouchy until I got back. Finally... a
smile!

Charlotte's Birthday Party!

Kelly went to her first party today. She was so excited to celebrate her friend Charlotte's first birthday. There she got to play with other babies for pretty much the first time. I couldn't resist snapping lots of pictures of her with Evie, who is a New Year's Day baby, making her about 3 weeks older than Kelly. They looked so cute together in their party dresses.

The birthday girl was incredibly gracious with sharing her toys with all the other children. She didn't shed a single tear during the entire celebration.
