Last week Kelly turned 15 months old. On Friday she had her checkup where she received her last big round of shots (4) for the next few years. She weighed 20 lbs 13 ozs (25th percentile) and was 27.75 inches tall (10th percentile). She has become quite the tiny little thing. With that, I give you two pictures from tonight of Kelly enjoying Desi's hammock:

Rainy Day Reading
Kelly has become quite the book aficionado!
It's such a pleasure to read to her now that she enjoys it!

Visiting Gramma and Grampa
Two weekends ago we went to Gramma and Grampa's house.
Surveying the toys with Grampa.
Looking at an old picture of Mommy and Daddy with Gramma.
Hugging Gramma's cat. Kelly loves to hug her toys and will do so when asked ;). Gramma's cat is a favorite because it doesn't run away when Kelly tries to pet it (it's fake).

Fun at Kayla's House
Today Kayla's mom April got a sand and water table for the girls to play with! They were much more interested in the water than the sand, but the sand part attracted a lot of the older neighborhood kids. :-P We got a reprieve when the ice cream man came and they scattered for a bit.
Kelly found Kayla's pink car and asked for a ride, so I obliged.
Honk, Honk!

Reading Time
Kelly's new trick is finding books in the sea-of-her-things that is our house and bringing them over to us to read to her. She is also adept at crawling into our laps to get read to.
Then she decided that petting Logan was more fun.
[sorry for the dark pictures... the camera phones don't have flashes, so they can sometimes be a bit dark :(]

On the Way to Gymboree
Kelly and I have a fun new routine where I sit her down on the stairs to put her shoes on before we go out. She just started wearing "big girl shoes" (as opposed to Robeez), and today was her first day wearing these new sandals.
Almost the same, except she was starting to smile ;). (I couldn't decide which pic was better, so in the interest of Gramma Dot who thinks "the more the better," I'm posting both :).)
I was trying to get her to pose in front of our house in the sun but she was way too interested in the hose and the rusty sprinkler (awesome) to look at the camera.
Thanks, Grandma, for this adorable outfit from the Gymboree store (not to be confused with the Gymboree gym, where we were headed).

Watching Kayla
Last night we all went over to Kayla's house to watch her while her mom ran an errand. Both girls crawled into my lap, first Kelly, then Kayla. Eventually Kelly got pushed out ;).

More Slides
Today we went to a playground near our house. Kelly got to do lots more sliding.
First, we tried out the small slide. Kelly enjoyed it, but it was a little bit steeper and slipperier than the one she went on on Friday. She did alright though.
Then Kelly rode the twisted slide with Daddy. I love this picture because they both look so happy ;).
Finally, I braved the twisty slide with Kelly. We all had a great time at the park today!

Mmmm, Pear!
Kelly loves pears. She even pulled one out of the fridge today and took a bite out of it. Here she is enjoying one at Grandma and Grandpa's house on Saturday night.

My Pianist
Kelly had some more time at the piano this weekend at Grandma's. She looks like such a big girl at the piano now!
